This series of work dedicates to foreign workers and immigrants who endure and overcome hardship in order to provide the best for their loved ones. Focusing on the struggles of starting a new life in unknown territory, Lung is interested in the experience of how foreign land turns the ordinary into something unfamiliar. The parasitic threads sprouting from the terracotta landscape, with layers of metallic glaze, is representative of the toughness necessary for survival.
